SODA Private Limited (www.soda-it.com) was
founded in 2012 by infocomm security expert, Kwok-Yan Lam and Michael Tse, a longtime
banker, financier and, more recently an investor in medical screening facilities.
With a mission to provide a solution to address emerging data privacy issues stemming
from data theft, surveillance, and more, the duo developed SODA Suite, featuring
secure communication and collaboration apps for modern professionals and enterprises.
Founding Story
Michael Tse has always appreciated the importance of data security. He knew that
while technology has empowered people to collaborate and share data in ways that
were never before possible, it also creates a major privacy issue when data is exposed
unknowingly.
Following massive, global security breaches, Michael reaffirmed his view that the
financial and reputational damages resulting from stolen or leaked data far exceeds
the cost of safeguarding against it in the first place. He needed a solution to
protect his personal and business data.

Citigroup Alternative Investments. Currently, he is active with his own private
equity investments.
